Triethylene glycol, TEG, is a colorless, odorless, viscous liquid with the molecular formula HO-CH2-CH2-O-CH2-CH2-O-CH2-CH2-OH.

Application: Heavily relied upon for the dehydration of natural gas where low dew points are required. Also functions as a vinyl plasticizer, a humectant, and an active ingredient in air disinfectants.
