Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) is a powerful, environmentally friendly industrial oxidizing agent and antiseptic. It is a clear, colorless, odorless liquid. When it reacts, it breaks down into water ($H_2O$) and oxygen ($O_2$), leaving no toxic residue.
It is available in white canisters of various concentrations (3%, 35%, 50%) and Eurocans with special breathing valves.
Applications:
Cellulose, paper and textile: safe chlorine-free bleaching of paper, wood pulp and fabrics.
Chemical industry: raw materials for the synthesis of polymers, peroxides and catalyst for reactions.
Water treatment and eco-monitoring: disinfection of wastewater, recycled water supply and elimination of odors.
Food industry and agro-industrial complex: sterilization of packaging (including Tetra-Pak), disinfection of equipment, greenhouses and irrigation systems.
Medicine and cosmetology: antiseptic treatment, surface disinfection, and component of cosmetic products.
⚠️ Safety: A product with a concentration of 35% or more must be stored in its original container with a breathing valve, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.
